SAILING PHOTOS
In my book The Habit Trap, I write about a sailing trip I took from Norway to the Faroe Islands. That trip was all about escaping my daily routines and trying something new, and it confirmed for me the power of challenging ourselves with unfamiliar experiences. It's the most fun, rewarding thing I've done in years.

We encountered the roughest seas of the trip during our first day and night out of Norway.

A quick selfie as we motored into the town of Lerwick in the Shetland Islands. The trip was organized by 59º North Sailing, and the experience was first-rate from start to finish.
